Deirdre Moncy


Deirdre began on the piano and violin at age 5 with the Suzuki Method. She's a graduate of The Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music from the Keyboard Department and attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Workshops and Master Class' include: Shakespeare with Oscar winner Lynn Redgrave, and Vocal Performance with American Idols Peisha McPhee.

She has been performing in clubs and festivals in Los Angeles and across The U.S.A. and Canada as a solo artist, as well as numerous collaborative projects. She starred in the wildly successful rock opera 'Orpheus- a Season in Hell' to rave reviews from the LA Weekly "...Moncy's soulful and moving voice"*. She also produced, hosted and headlined a 'Singer-Songwriter Salon'- at Hollywood's legendary Highland Grounds, booking Los Angeles's Folk-Rock-Indie up and comers.

She co-produced and judged the 3 year run of the live hit Hollywood show 'Cabaret Idol', an LA Weekly's* 'Must See/Pick of the Weekly'. 

Deirdre is a featured Piano Bar Entertainer at the world famous Don't Tell Mama (formerly at the Los Angeles location, now when ever she's in NYC).

Originally from wickedly awesome Boston, Mass., she currently resides in sunny Los Angeles.
